Sorry + Cellulite
I was away for a long weekend so it will take me a few days to catch up. No one is being purposely ignored!!!
While I'm doing that,  a new question for my beloved advisory board:
Cellulite Treatments

I mean what the hell is going on round here. I thought this whole skin problem and the ways to control or destroy it have been done for. Now, when I'm finally delving into this problematics more thoroughly - it's a freaking shambles.

Some resources say diet can be solution, others say 'no way'. Massages, body wraps, use of electricity - I'm finding diametrically opposite beliefs. Endermologie is a valid treatment that is proved to be effective. Few clicks later it's merely a temporary solution. There are also some new hypes like acoustic waves and lasers; very expensive and with no actual and documented proof that it works.

I thought all those creams and lotions were useless, but now I'm actually considering them; e.g. RevitaShape and Murad. There is even a disagreement on what cellulite actually is!

I lost most of my yesterday looking through the internet for the right thing for me. And, as you can see, I got severely disheartened by the contradictory and unconfirmed pieces of information.
Therefore, if any of you knows something about how to combat this skin menace, please, give me a word or two.

As far as I know cellulite creams don't work. However, the British "How to Look Good Naked" did do a segment on cellulite creams in Series 1 and they found that Nivea's Goodbye Cellulite Gell Cream wokrd best out of the "bad" products (it got a 39/100). While it didn't do anything about the cellulite, some of the women did say that it seemed to tone their skin a little, thus, hiding the "cottage cheese effect".

The suggestion at the end of the show was that a tan is a far more effective solution as masking cellulite and they suggested a moisturizer with fake tan. It'll help keep your skin smooth and add just a hint of tan without making you orange. I use Johnson & Johnson Holiday Skina nd it seems to work well.

However, that being said, in Series 2 they tested things like the wraps, massages, and electrical treatments and the results seemed to vary by woman. Some of the ladies loved them and some hated them.

The best way I know to combat cellulite is diet and exercise. I've spent my life walking everywhere rather than driving (which makes me an oddball here in the US), and it's kept me firm. Also, low impact exercises geared towards muscle toning rather than strengthening can tighten you up and get rid of the cellulite effect.
